Thoughts on the last day of a birding vacation:  

"My Days in the forests

Have come to an end, I know

The sun has set

And tells me it's time to go.

But deep in their green shadows,

There are birds urging me to stay.

So I pause, wait, and listen,

For one more lovely sound,

One more lovely tweet,

Before walking away"
